Bilateral CONSERVE® Total Hip with BFH® Technology She was suffering from severe deterioration of the cartilage in the hip socket. It was very painful, but she was instructed, like many patients, to return when she couldn’t stand it any more for a total hip replacement. After 5 years June had such a limited range of motion in her hips she could longer stand upright and was using a walker full time. Simple tasks such as driving into town caused excruciating pain.
